Innovations include the removable lid and rounded corners that simplify cleaning, the double-walled construction of the chamber and lid for better insulation, and the internal irrigation pipe to prevent water loss. The slightly larger dimensions compared to the AeroFlo ensure that even the roots of larger plants always have enough space and plenty of water. The GrowStream is versatile, being suitable for both small and large plants, and the only hydroponic system on the market where not only lettuces and herbs but also large plants can thrive. With a holding capacity of 10 to 120 plants per system unit, the GrowStream® system, which can be expanded as required, is the most flexible of all solutions for hydroponic plant production. Based on the principle of optimal distribution of oxygenated water along the entire length of the growing system, the GrowStream® concept offers the advantages of a growing technique known as aeroponics without its disadvantages (water heating and high susceptibility to pH fluctuations). GrowStream® systems consist of a reservoir with a simple water pump that pumps water to the planting trough, where it is injected at precisely controlled time intervals. The nutrient solution then flows back through the drain pipe, optimally supplying the reservoir with oxygen without the need for complex control technology or a large number of air pumps. This simplifies the installation and operation of the GrowStream® system to the greatest possible extent, so that the grower can devote himself to his actual task - plant control - without wasting time on system maintenance. The V2.0 variant brings the following upgrades: The side caps of the upper gutters. They are now manufactured by means of innovative laser process. The advantages: the lines are now closed with a plug that is screwed in instead of pressed in. This prevents plastic expansion and water pressure from interacting at high temperatures (lamps, greenhouses in summer...), causing the plug to fall out. The manifold is now screwed in as well. It is now made of flexible pieces of pipe, so there is no risk of breakage of the manifold and it can be lengthened or shortened as needed. In addition to these changes, the tank has also been replaced with a new black tank. It has a black interior (made of recycled plastic) to protect it from light and a white exterior (new plastic) to protect it from the sun, keeping the nutrient solution fresher. The design of the tank lid has also been improved and a drain kit and cleaning accessories for easy cleaning of the feed lines have been included in the package.
