Grodan Rockwool offers many advantages to the home grower. Full control of the plants' needs, high yields and easy processing in the grow system. Grodan Rockwool has a lasting optimal water / air ratio and is completely nutrient-free so that every cultivation can be supplied with the appropriate nutrients. We offer mats and Growcubes as rockwool media and a variety of cultivation blocks for reproduction. The cultivation cubes fit into the grow cubes; those will be placed either on the rockwool mats or will be planted into another substrate.
Rockwool mats are available in the size of 1 m in length and in widths of 15 and 10 cm respectively. The Grodan Expert Mat is made for one season, i.e. for approx. 6 - 12 months.
The Grodan Master Mat is somewhat firmer in its structure and usable for up to two years. We also offer the 10 cm wide Grodan WFMX mat on request.
